Ricky is a world renowned saxophonist, originally from the US and living in France for the past 25 years.  He emerged on the scene in the late 1970s as the saxophonist in Charles Mingus' last working group, and quickly became known as one of the leading tenor players of his generation.  He playing covers the whole history of the tenor saxophone in jazz.
